Man Dies by Suicide at Bozeman Walmart, Police Say
The Bozeman Police Department responded to an incident at the Walmart on North 7th Avenue at approximately 2:18 p.m. on Sunday, August 10, 2025. According to authorities, an adult male died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Emergency medical services arrived on scene as police partially evacuated the store. Officials confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the public and described the case as a suicide.
The man’s identity has not been released. Walmart has announced the store will remain open while the investigation continues.
