It is with deep respect and sorrow that we share the passing of David A. Dodge, a devoted Elk, respected leader, and cherished friend. David passed away peacefully at his home last week, leaving behind a legacy of service, fellowship, and dedication to his community and lodge.

David was a Past Exalted Ruler of Bath Lodge, where he faithfully served alongside his late wife, Mary-Anne Dodge, who also held the honor of Past Exalted Ruler. Their commitment to the values and traditions of the Elks made them beloved figures within the Elk family. Together, they set an inspiring example of leadership and unity.

David will be laid to rest with his beloved wife, Mary-Anne, and their late son, John Dodge, during a graveside service on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery, in the newer section at the circle. The ceremony will include Full Military Honors in recognition of his service to the nation.

While there will be no Elk’s or Legion service, friends, fellow Elks, and members of the community are welcome to attend the graveside service to pay their respects and honor his life.

Our heartfelt prayers and condolences go out to David’s daughter and his few remaining family members during this difficult time. His memory will live on in the fellowship of the Elks and in the hearts of those who knew him.

Though his service details were not widely published, all who wish to honor his life and legacy are invited to gather, remember, and celebrate the enduring impact David A. Dodge left behind.
