The LifeNet and Ticonderoga communities are heartbroken following the sudden passing of Flight Paramedic Kevin Robert, who died on the evening of August 27, 2025, after experiencing a medical emergency while on duty. Kevin was aboard LifeNet 7-13, alongside a flight nurse and pilot, actively caring for a patient when the emergency occurred.

In an urgent effort to save him, the crew quickly diverted and landed at a nearby hospital while the communications center coordinated emergency resources for both Kevin and the patient. Despite the immediate response and extraordinary efforts of his fellow crew members, first responders, and hospital staff, Kevin tragically could not be revived.

Kevin’s passing is a devastating loss, not only to his family and loved ones but also to the emergency medical services community. Known as a dedicated and compassionate paramedic, he devoted his life to helping others in their greatest moments of need. Colleagues describe him as selfless, skilled, and deeply committed to his patients and team — the very embodiment of courage and service.

LifeNet released a heartfelt statement:

The Ticonderoga base remains on safety stand-down as we allow our team the time and space they need to grieve.
