Cody Alan Seagrove, 29, of Topeka, Kansas, entered into eternal rest on August 25, 2025, at his home surrounded by the love of his family. Born on March 20, 1996, in Topeka, Cody was a source of joy, laughter, and inspiration to everyone who knew him.
Cody graduated from Ottawa High School in 2014 and later completed “College” at Osawatomie High School in 2017, an achievement that filled both him and his family with pride. Throughout his life, Cody’s strong spirit and kind heart shined through in everything he did. He cherished time spent with his family—whether going on walks, swimming, skating, or simply enjoying the everyday moments that brought him happiness.
A talented athlete, Cody was deeply involved in the Special Olympics, where his dedication and enthusiasm earned him numerous medals across different events. He also participated in the Special Populations program in Osawatomie, where he most often excelled in track, consistently winning first place. These accomplishments were a reflection not only of his athletic abilities but also of his determination, perseverance, and never-give-up attitude.
Beyond his achievements, Cody will be remembered for his infectious smile, sense of humor, and the kindness he extended to others. He touched the lives of countless people with his warm personality, showing strength and courage in the face of challenges. His life was a blessing to his family, friends, and community, and his legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Cody is survived by his loving family, who stood by his side throughout his life’s journey. He will forever remain in their hearts, a cherished son, brother, relative, and friend.
