Remembering the Life of Isaias Rafael Pop, 24, of North Platte
Isaias Rafael Pop, 24, of North Platte, Nebraska, formerly of Lexington, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025. His passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of his family and friends, who will forever cherish the love, kindness, and memories he shared.

Born on October 30, 2000, in El Monte, California, to Ernesto Pop Hernandez and Sonia E. Villa de Leon, Isaias moved with his family to Lexington, Nebraska, when he was just four months old. A bright and hardworking student, he attended Lexington Public Schools, where he excelled in honors classes and graduated with the Class of 2019. He later pursued higher education at Central Community College in Kearney, where he earned a degree in Mechatronics. In 2023, Isaias relocated to North Platte with his brother, Josue, and began working at Walmart Distribution Center.

Isaias will be remembered as thoughtful, intelligent, and creative. He had a passion for art, often expressing his emotions through his sketches and occasionally painting his own shirts. His creativity also extended to designing tattoos, many of which reflected his unique artistic vision. Beyond his art, he found joy in reading, poetry, and spending time outdoors. Whether fishing, exploring forests, visiting waterfalls, or traveling to places like the Grand Canyon, Nashville, Portland, and Cancun, Isaias loved connecting with the beauty of nature.

Above all, family was at the center of his life. He treasured every moment with his parents, siblings, and especially his nieces and nephews, with whom he created lasting memories. His playful, caring nature made him a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Isaias is survived by his parents, Ernesto and Sonia of Lexington; siblings, Emelin (Belther) Arias of Lexington, Marel (Maclen) Sotelo of Brownfield, Texas, Abraham (Yuri) Pop of Lexington, and Josue Pop of North Platte; eleven beloved nieces and nephews; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at Dios Es Amor Church in Lexington with Pastor Santos Ordonez officiating. Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
